an endless journey of countless paths
in this wondrous place we inhabit

where cables line the forests
and train tracks pierce the fields
blurring invisible borders
with connective streams

where streets frame our horizon
and houses mould our dreams

where rustling trees and placid thicket murmur
- we are neighbours...
and rousing rivers and quiet lakes chuckle
- we are family...

where rough cliffs force bracing waves
to surrender into a tight embrace
whispering - we are bound by our endless struggle
of bitter dissent and vigorous desire

where towering mountains bear
thin layers of ancient histories
and the depths of the oceans
withhold memories untold

echoing the undeniable resounding
truth truth truth

where rain washes away the city’s tears
bringing them home to the salt of the sea
rocking them into a gentle slumber
of timeless scattering

where the sun strokes the desert’s sandy cloak
and fills even the deepest valley’s vessel
with life’s nectar
as water forms into sculptures of unfading white
and melts into gushing torrents of purpose

where the wind whistles through cracks
and glides over plains
carrying us with its eternal breath
as we move our bodies through this world

dressed in a kaleidoscope of song
telling its tale of all colours
